Rodney Howard Browne teaches us to look at our lives. How frequently have you prayed and prayed for direction, only to hear nothing in reply? When we find ourselves not able to hear God’s voice, we must take an in depth look at our lives to find the source of problem.

First, your own self-will could be getting in the way of God’s will for your life. If you decide up front what you believe should occur, you could be telling God with your actions that you don’t need His input. 2nd , the negative influences of folks may be drawing you away from God’s plan. Just like Job, we must be careful of apparently well intentioned, yet horribly badly judged, buddies who offer uncommitted recommendation. Third, unconfessed sin in your life might be toughening your heart to the point of non secular hearing loss. Is there anything standing between you and God today that must be removed? 4th , easy doubt can seep into a follower’s life and starve his religion to the point of ineffectiveness.

We must believe that God can and will show us His plans for our lives. 5th , busyness is an example of the most threatening enemies of non secular expansion. Are you too busy to spend a quiet moment with the Lord? You can’t expect to hear Him if you do not take some time to listen. Rodney Howard Browne teaches us to get rid of obstacles. God does not keep His will a secret. It isn’t His goal for His children to leap thru hoops to find Him. Nor does He desire His supporters to go thru life aimlessly. If needless or deadly obstacles obstruct your walk with the Lord, remove them today and get back in step with Him.

The concept of leaving an inheritance prompts folks to consider possessions, property, and money to be divided among members of the family. As followers, we want to consider the religious heritage we leave behind.

A religious inheritance isn’t a denominational tie or pet doctrine, but rather the set of beliefs that rule our life.

Instructing children in the methods of God is how faith is passed down.

Biblical teachingexpressed not solely in words but also in actionsshould permeate our life and home. Getting out the six-inch-deep leather Bible and making a show of opening it isn’t just about as good as a lifestyle that reflects scriptural elements ; instruction is most helpful when it happens naturally over dinner or in a family outing. Never miss a chance to weave God’s truth into common-or-garden conversation, or as Moses explained, talk about [God's laws] when you sit at home and when you walk along the road ( v. Seven niv ).

As we share personal experiences of God’s provision and care, children learn he is reliable. Many oldsters recognize the significance of passing down their religion but are uncertain ways to begin. A brilliant start line is talking about the things that interest and concern our boys and girls. We will be able to raise questions and hear their stories and views. If we approach them with an unprejudiced mind and ready ears rather than judgment and censure, we will learn where their ideas originate. And we will be able to guide them to see how God fits into their everyday life. The best inheritance we will leave our children isn’t cash or property, but a godly example.

Rodney Howard Browne teaches us to pray sincerely. When a righteous man prays a continued, earnest, heartfelt, prayer, there is a tremendous power that is released – a dynamic active power that effectively goes to work – producing the desired result. If you want your prayers to be answered, there are a few things that you must do to ensure the desired result – you must walk righteously before the Lord, you must pray sincerely and fervently and you must pray according to God’s will.

12 Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13 And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. And when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it. Mark 11:12-14 NKJV

Jesus spoke to the fig tree in the presence of His disciples. He cursed it and walked away.

The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” Mark 11:20-21 NKJV

The next morning, Jesus passed the fig tree without a second glance. The disciples on the other hand, noticed that it was dried up from the roots and they were shocked and surprised. Jesus was not surprised. Jesus did not even stop to see if anything had happened to the fig tree since He spoke to it. As far as He was concerned – He had spoken and He had faith in the fact that whatever He said came to pass. He had not one doubt about it at all. He did not have to look at the fig tree to see if His faith was working – as far as He was concerned if He spoke it, it was done!

11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 NKJV

God’s Word always accomplishes what He pleases and prospers in the thing for which He sent it.
